Landscaping in Point Lobos

Properties along the Point Lobos and Carmel Highlands coastline face the most extreme conditions Green Angels works in. Constant onshore wind, heavy salt load, thin soil over rock, and steep terrain mean that ordinary landscaping choices simply fail here within a season or two.

Our approach is to work with the site instead of against it: coastal-native and salt-tolerant species, low-profile planting that does not fight the wind, natural stone that reads as part of the bluff, and erosion control that keeps soil where it belongs during winter storms.

We also handle grounds maintenance, brush clearing, and irrigation repair for homes along Highway 1 through the Highlands. Given how sensitive this stretch of coast is, our crews stage tightly and haul all debris out rather than stockpiling it on site.
